In March StoriesOut organized a talk for the non-profit project of Erika Lust, “The Porn Conversation” around the importance of better sex education for young people. It has launched a guide (now available in French) for families and educators on how to talk about sexualité and the inescapable subject of porn to age three groups 8-11, 12-15 and 16 years and over.
Research shows that children as young as 8 years old have seen pornography and gaps in their formal sex education is leading them to freely accessible porn sites to answer their questions.
For the event, which took place in Paris against all odds (strikes and garbage everywhere) the team had fantastic results and glowing feedback and media coverage. There were:
