The exchange of messages has increased by 20% on LinkedIn in 2022 compared to 2021.
So if you’re active on LinkedIn, your messaging system must be a real ordeal, with headhunters and bots sending you messages – it’s enough to make you lose your head.
LinkedIn new feature:
To remedy this LinkedIn has released a new feature called the star to help organise your inbox.
This addition will make it easier to filter your recurring contacts instead of spending 3 minutes scrolling or finding them via the search bar.
It will also make it easier to filter messages sent by bots. LinkedIn is leading the fight against spam and automated messages. This is an added difficulty for companies and schools that use these methods to achieve their marketing and recruitment objectives.
The platform is fighting spam from bots, which could spell trouble for some companies that use automated messages for marketing or recruitment purposes….
How does the LinkedIn star work?
Step one:
It’s a very simple manoeuvre to activate the LinkedIn star. All you have to do is click on your LinkedIn messaging system, which is located at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
Second step:
Click on the 3 little dots next to the person to open the drop-down menu.
Then select star.
Et si vous ne saviez pas vous avez également la possibilité de filtrer votre messagerie LinkedIn en fonction de type des messages :
- Archivés
- Etoilés (nouveau)
- Non lus
- In mail
- Spam
Et voilà, vous avez désormais vos interlocuteurs favoris répertoriés !
